Allycat Art was founded by prolific Australian artist Alison O'Connor. The Allycat art style is bold, bright and playful. Alison produces dopamine art by injecting a feeling of positivity and joyfulness straight into Australian homes. Alison is a big fan of abstract art and Australian native flora and fauna and she feels inspired by our local environment. Thick fluro acrylic paints feature heavily in the Allycat Art aesthetic.
The Birds and the Bees collection features bold and bright abstract Australian birds including Fairy Wrens, Rosellas, Owls, Cockatoos, Galahs, Kookaburras and more. The Birds and the Bees collection is environmentally conscious utiling upcycled canvases and timber off-cuts for the framing.
Alison's next exhibition is Birds and the Bees (a vibrant mini abstract bird collection) in May 2023 at The Space - gallery + workshops (17d Rutland Street, Newtown, Geelong).
